Today is my off day of the drops, it is required to take one day off a week of the drops to prevent becoming immune to them.
On 1/27/2011 I contacted the support team for the diet to see if the vertigo was a typical complaint on this diet. I was asked a few questions concerning any supplements I was taking, to which I am taking a multivitamn, B12 and just my prescribed medication for cholestrol and my anti-depressant. After careful consideration I was advised this is possible that I have low blood sugar and to try taking glucose tablets. I did not run out and buy any, because after I had lunch I felt better. The rest of the evening I was fine.
This morning I got up and stepped on the scale and at first I was disappointed that I hadn't lost even an ounce. So I went and got my coffee. Then it dawned on me that I weighed myself still wearing my pj's. I was tired this morning. So anyway I then re-weighed and I had lost more than an ounce, just not much more, only 8 oz. A bit of a bummer since I have been losing an average of 1.4 lbs a day. I am not going to let that get me down, I have lost more in one week than I have after months of dieting before. I am sure it is just a small bump in the road.
When I woke up this morning I did not have any vertigo, but by the time I got to work I did, so I went and got a mint, I cut it in half and I just let it sit in my mouth until it desolved. Afterwards I began to feel better, not entirely ok, but better. So this tells me that I may benefit from taking the glucose tablets. I am not sure how that will affect the diet, we will just have to wait and see.
I am also looking at changing how I eat the food. Instead of having 2 meals and 2 snacks, I am going to divided the food up to where I am eating 6 small meals a day. I haven't been hungry, it's just the nausea that is bothering me.
So tomorrow morning will be a complete week since I started the drops. When I weigh in tomorrow morning I am hoping to see a better loss than this morning. I will do my measurements also. It will be nice to see a difference there.
