Day 5 of Phase 2 1 full week
Beginning weight 170.2
Current weight 164.2
Total loss 6 lbs
WOW! 6 pounds in a week. That is the best I have ever seen. I did really want it to be moe, but I was not sure how well the diet would work.
As I have been writing I have had so much nausea after the first few days, The first day I suffered from the nausea, it was not very severe. The second day was so bad that I almost went home from work to crawl in bed. Thursday was the fourth day of the nausea, it was not so bad, but still bothersome. Then Friday I still had the nausea, even though I was not taking the drops. This morning I took the drops as usual. About 2 hours after I took the drops I became so nauseous that I tthought I was going to pass out. I bought some motion sickness medications and took one in hopes that it would help. It didn't it actually seemed to make it worse.
I thought that maybe I didn't eat enough fatty foods on the first 2 days and possible I have some adverse reaction due to that. So today I decided that I cannot continue to feel this way.
So I have made a decision to get off the diet for a week, to see if this vertigo is a result of the drops or if there something else going on. Is it possible that I have hypoglycemia? I just need to see what happens off the diet.
If I feel better off the drops, then I will start the protocal all over again in a week. I will be sure to eat much more fatty foods for the 1st 2 days than I did the first time.
I have researched all of the internet for others that have suffered with nausea as bad and I found that some did suffer with the nausea, but most of them only suffer for about 2 days, then it went away.
I will continue to blog my journey while I am off the drops and back on the protocol. In the meantime I will continue to watch my calorie intake and will make sure that I am exercising.
So stay tuned to see what happens next.

You might try and be sure to log your calories and watch so you don't increase carbs too much (I say that because they are so easy to get and they satisfy so quickly). I want to know how this goes for you, so keep me posted.
