Day 3 Phase 2 2/7/2011

Beginning Weight 167.0
Day 1 "load day" weight 168.0
Day 2 "load day" weight 169.4
Current weight 166.0

I want to make sure that I am clear on how this weigh in works. Although the title of this says day 3 - my weigh in is from this morning the beginning of day 4. I know it can seem confusing to some, even me when I begin my blog everyday.
As the instruction manual says not to be concerned about any weight again during the load days as you will lose it and then some. I am really only counting from the beginning weight and not the load days weight. So far I have lost a pound. Doesn't really seem like a lot, however a pound a day is good. On most diets you can expect to lose a pound or two a week.
Yesterday was a bit hard to start the low cal diet after eating all the fatty foods for two days before. I did end up eating an extra fruit serving. I only had 2 cups of coffee and as many of us have been told, coffee is an appetite supressant. So for now, more coffee is in my plan.
As far I have not had any "lightheadness" and I am hoping to not get any either.
I am steadfast to follow the low cal diet (500 cal) I just need to change how I eat the food. I will be eating a fruit serving in the morning in hopes of preventing the "lightheadedness". I have heard from a few people who have add a few more calories to the diet and still lost a significant amount of weight. If I find that I need to add another 30-50 calories to keep from feeling like I am going to be sick, then I will add an apple or orange.
Again I advise anyone planning to get on this diet to do your research, google it, ask people who have been on the diet. I have not found a single person or any posts that indicate anything but success. I have found a few posts from people who did suffer from some nausea, however they also mentioned changing when they ate and the nausea seemed to pass.
As for me, I am taking it one day at a time. I am looking forward to hitting my goal weight and then moving on to the maintenance phase.
