Day 6 & 7

I didn't blog yesterday as my morning was swamped with a meeting anf then I had to retire to a reclining position due to a migraine. I fully intended to post, but then we had an issue with one of the remaining puppies and had to rush to the vet. When I woke up from my migraine induced mini- coma, I went to play with the puppies and found the little one could not open her eyes. Then after I attempted to washed, she cried out and puzzy stuff came out of her eyes. Luckily we have a vet around the corner. Turns out she has a bacterial infection. So antibiotic cream for the eyes, antibiotic liquid for ingestion and supplimenting the mommas milk.
Now to my blog concerning the diet. I woke and stepped on the scale. I actually look forward to that now. I was really hoping to see a significant loss since I only had a .4 weigh loss the day before. I stepped on the scale and I was surprized that I had only lost .2 pounds..What??????
Two days in a row of very little weight loss. Now I had to think about what I had done wrong?
So I took a mental review and I knew I had stuck to the diet restriction. The only differemce was I had beef, which is allowed, but I must have not had lean enough beef,
So I decided that I would just take the beef out of the diet altogether. I had chicken breast for lunch with a cucumber and then I had fish for dinner with some tomato. This was my day off from taking the drops and I was concerned that I would be hungry. So I made sure that I took my apple and divided it into two containers so I could eat 1/2 an apple for breakfast, especially since it was free breakfast at work. I love free breakfast, eggs, potatoes, and bacon, I love bacon. Also the breakfast pastries, blueberry danish, cinnamin rolls, yum. However I had no problem walking past the buffet line. Yeah me! Once I was at home my migraine was so bad that I had no desire to eat anything. I ended the day owing myself 1/2 a fruit serving.

I woke up this morning after having a day of concern about the loss of weight. I was feeling that I had hit a plateau already and that is concerning since I had been on the diet for less than a week, However, when I stepped on the scale this morning I had lost a full pound, yes back on track!
Then I decided to take my measurements. I knew that I had lost inches because the suit I wear on Fridays at the meetings was fitting better. I could only button the jacket before when it was on the hanger. Yesterday I could button it while I was wearing it. It was still a bit tight, but I bet that in another week I can button it comfortably. The pants were also more comfortable,
I was delighted that I had lost 4 inches on my waist, 1.5 inches from my hips and was surprized that I lost 6 inches around my chest! It does not appear that I have lost any cups size, so that is a good thing.
Well there of course is more to come, so let's keep on lossing.
