So yesterday as I was sitting at my desk I just got this wave of lightheadedness and nausea. Same thing I was experiencing last week while taking the HCG, which of course is the reason I stopped the diet.
It is a relief to know that it was not a result of the diet, especially since I am planning on going back starting tomorrow. However, it is a little concerning to have this issue. I immediately made a doctor appointment. I was lucky to get in the same day. She examined me and found me to be fit it that regard, so then it was blood work time and an Xray of my sinuses. Nothing was found out of the ordinary on the Xray and blood work would take atleast a day.
She gave me some antibiotics as she feels it is a lingering infection from when I was sick a few weeks back. If by the time I finish the meds and I am still suffering, she will then arrange for other testing. Today the office called and my blood came back fine. Today I was feeling a little lightheaded, but not severe, but that comes and goes.
When I stepped on the scale at the doctors office my weight was exactly the same as it was over a year ago this time. 171 - I hate the doctors scale. I am not upset by the weight as I know in a few weeks I will be weighing in much closer to my ideal weight.
Tomorrow morning I will step on my scale at home and will post my blog. Tomorrow is the first day of phase 1 - enjoying all the fatty foods I eat. I am thinking bacon, greasy hamburgers, chocolate and ice cream - chocolate, chocolate ice cream.
Let's see how this time goes.
For those of you considering the HCG Diet, make sure you do your own research. There is a wonderful article in Marie Clare magazine this month about one woman's results.
Happy losing!!!
