Day 6 week 2

Current weight 158.6

That's right I said 158.6! Whew, I was so concerned that I had really messed up when I went for 2 days in the 160's. I have been really craving chocolate cookies or candies and even though right now the company is out of candy, usually someone has some at their desk. Once I know where there is some I can not control myself.
Yesterday I was very careful to not eat anything that was not on the diet plan. That worked well until I got home. After I got home I prepared roast beef sandwiches for Sherman and a lean beef steak for myself along with a salad that had tomatoes, strawberries and oranges, yum.
But then about an hour after dinner, everyone was hungry so Barby made a baked potato with butter and sour cream and Sherman had some cereal, not a big deal on the cereal as it was shredded wheat, I hate them. But then I wanted the sweets, so I had 1/4 of a cookie. Then I thought "hey, I have this cocoa that is perfect with no sugar, etc. Made a cup of cocoa with sweet-n-low. Man it was great! Then I noticed that the cocoa had.5g of fat. :( - so I went to bed resigned to the fact that I will probably have gained weight instead of lost.
So glad I was wrong.
Saturday starts my third week and I have about 18 lbs to lose to be at my goal weight.

  1. So today is my second day on Phase 2. When I woke up, I was down to my pre-load days weight, but no lower. I've done well with the food, because it is actually delicious food. I did want to grab a Hershey's Kiss when I saw one in the church kitchen this morning, but I managed not to. Having an apple as my snack in the afternoon helps. I should have had a morning snack, but imagine I will, instead, have an evening snack today.

    I have discovered that I can drink coffee black with stevia. It tastes a little like a coffee candy to me. The green tea with stevia is good, too; plus I like my other kinds of tea plain anyway. I can handle this.

    I think I'm going to have to deal with some slight headaches for awhile; hopefully only for a bit as my body gets used to the diet. Then again, it's a bit cloudy today - might be just a sinus issue. Time will tell.

    So...a couple of days almost down. Tomorrow morning should be interesting. I am excited.
