1st Day of Phase 2 - Day 3

As you can see I weighed in this morning and I obviously ate more fatty foods on the 2nd day than I did on the 1st as I gained back a little. This gain is to be expected and I was prepared on the 2nd day to see an increase, so no surprize.

Today is the first day of eating the low cal diet. I took my drops as my coffee brewed.
Since I prepared all of my food for a week I was able to just open the fridge and pick out 1 serving of each food I am allowed.
Today I decided on Talapia cooked with regular seasonings that contained no sugars and steamed. 100 grams. I had salad, 2 cups (typical serving), no dressing, salt & pepper. 1 serving of grapefruit (1/2) and 1 serving of bread (1 piece of Melba toast - plain).
It doesn't seem like a lot, but it was actually more that I normal eat for lunch. - I have been known to just eat microwave popcorn and a diet Coke.
I had my coffee for breakfast, which I talways have for breakfast, regardless of this diet. Normally I quit drinking coffee at 10am and then I just drink water until lunch. The hardest thing for me right now is not having gum to chew on, but the gum I chew has sugar in it, so I gave it up. I actually considered chewing the wax from those little wax bottles that have syrup in them, but then I consider it to be stupid. I will just have to suffer.
At 11:00 am I took the drops and waited 30 minutes. Then I had my lunch. I was plenty full afterwards and decided to save my grapefruit for an afternoon snack, which I ate at 2:30pm.
at 4:oo pm I am still feeling full and expect that I will be fine until I have dinner.
I thought that I would really miss my diet Coke, but it has been 3 days since I had one and doing ok.
I have had a small headache, that is just lingering. Compared to the migraines I tend to suffer from this headache is nothing.
So far so good.
