daily weight loss of .6 lbs
I am having a hard time keeping on track with the actual days and dates so I am changing the way I record.
So I am varying between .5 to 1 lbs of weight loss a day. I am not letting to low count today to get me down, because I have lost 4 inches in my waist and 6 inches are my chest, which means that I do not have as much back fat. I am soon going to reach my goal of being able to wear a t-shirt without having lumps around my bra. This excites me and keeps my enthusiasm up.
I have not been down to 162 in so long, even with walking an hour a day, watching my weight and working out at least 30 minutes every other day. So this is good.
I am learning how to eat right. Yesterday I did have a chicken roll from QT as I was very hungry and did not plan to bring anything with. I do know now to make sure I have an orange or an apple with me at all times. Of course once I am on Phase 3 I can have other foods so I wouldn't need to carry fruit with me. However, eating on the run is not good for me either, it is just too easy to grab some french fries at a fast food place. It really is about making smart choices. I often find myself wanting a cookie with chocolate covering it. I know once I have not had that in a while I will not want it. I have already found my body not liking sugary stuff. Since I have removed sugars from my diet. I will now need to build a recipe collection of desserts that use Stevia or Sweet-N-Low in order to have a treat once in awhile.
I have been checking out the prices for low cal frozen treats as I do enjoy ice cream on occassion. It costs more to eat healthier, but I will just have to accept that. Since I am lactose intolerant I will have to have non-dairy substitutes for my cereal, etc.
Since being on the diet I have less heartburn and I am not taking the acid reducer everyday like I use to. I am also noticing that my IBS is not as bothersome either and I am more "regular". I feel lighter and healthier too. I am not as tired as I had been. My complextion is nicer and my skin is looking health too. I never imagined that eating as I did had so much affect on me.
I remember watching the movie "Super Size Me" and I knew that fast food was addicting, but I just didn't realize until I had started this diet and then went off it for a week. I had a chicken sandwich from Burger King and it was a buy 1 get 1 deal, so there were two and I ate them both. After I went back on the diet I was craving that chicken sandwich. Now the idea of anything fried or coming from a fast food place makes me ill.
Well enough of this blog for today as I am off to enjoy the day.
