Day 3 of Week 2

Ended my day by eating a 1/2 a chocolate graham cookie. They are in the cupboard and I really wanted one, it was like they were calling my name. I need to put those where I will not see them when I open the pantry. Ugh.
However, when I stepped on the scale this morning I still lost weight. Not a lot but the average of what I have been losing. a little over 1/2 a pound. I would love it if I could lose at least a pound a day, but I am not complaining. I am constantly reminding myself that last year at this time I was lucky to lose a pound a week and that was successful only because of watching my calories and working out 5 days a week.
As I was stretching last night before getting into bed I noticed that I can feel my ribs. I can't see them, which is good, because if I could see them I would have lost too much weight.
Everyday I am excited to step on the scale and see that I have lost something. Putting on my clothes and finding them to fit better is great too. now that I am accustomed to the diet I am going to start walking in the evenings and I am looking at possibly walking during my lunch hour too. Start getting on the exercise routine before I get to the maintenance phase of this diet plan.
Today I am going to lunch with a friend. Let's see if I can stick to the rules and just have a plain side salad.
